Summer Camp @Ross is Expanding to Bridgehampton!

July 10, 2014
Summertime in the Hamptons offers lots of great opportunities for families. The latest entry in the day camp scene is the expansion of Summer Camp @Ross to their Bridgehampton campus, located at 739 Butter Lane. At Summer Camp @Ross—Bridgehampton, children ages 3-7 will find activites and sports tailored just for them, with experienced early childhood educators that will help them make the most of their summer! Camp starts July 14 and continues through August 24, with weekday and weekend programs available.

During the week, in weeklong sessions, campers ages 3-6 can choose from two programs: Early Childhood Creative Explorations and Early Childhood Sports Camp. Each program runs Monday-Friday from 9am - 12pm.

Early Childhood Creative Explorations offers a robust day filled with art, music, singing, dancing, cooking, stories, science, Mandarin, Spanish, and math in a structured but fun environment. Teachers plan activities that foster imagination, curiosity, and intellect through indoor and outdoor play and exploration in a warm and creative environment.

Early Childhood Sports Camp introduces campers to tennis, soccer, basketball, baseball, and golf with the goal of making their entry into the world of sports and fitness fun. Skilled staff use a games-based approach along with a multisport agenda to allow campers to discover the joy of each sport and develop visual acuity and motor skills.

On weekends, campers ages 4-7 can sign up for six weeks of Weekend Explorations, where activities combine arts, performance, science, wellness, and athletics in multidisciplinary sessions with an emphasis on fun, collaboration, and learning. Campers will also have the opportunity to participate in aquatics to cool off on those warm days. Sign up for Saturday mornings (9am-12pm), Sunday mornings (9am-12pm), or both!
