Description
Splish Splash Water Park is raising awareness for water safety in a BIG way as the World’s Largest Rubber Duck migrates toNew York’s Largest Water Park beginning Friday, August 2 through Sunday, August 4.
In honor of International Lifeguard Appreciation Day on July 31, the park is kicking off a full weekend highlighting their water park heroes. Each lifeguard at the park is certified by Ellis & Associates, which is a global leader in integrated lifeguard training and comprehensive aquatic risk management. All lifeguards at Splish Splash Water Park go through a minimum of 26 hours of training to become certified through Ellis prior to their very first day at the park. Standing more than 61 feet tall, the Mama Duck, marks a unique way for New York’s Largest Water Park to draw attention and raise awareness for water safety.
The World’s Largest Rubber Duck has become an icon, making her way across the country to several cities including Greensboro, Pittsburgh, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Austin. Now for the first time ever, Mama Duck and baby duck, Timmy, will make Splish Splash their home for three days in August.
