East Hampton was all a buzz with the opening of Grindstone Coffee and Donuts located at 27 Race Lane. This easy access location that's open 7am to 4:30pm daily is the perfect stop after Summer camp drop off, before work stop, or after beach treat.

When I walked in the first thing I noticed was how clean and bright Grindstone is. With an easy to read menu, super friendly staff, and fantastic order add ons throughout the shop; my whole experience was phenomenal from start to finish. I ordered an iced coffee and some donuts for my family including the lemon poppy, jelly, and a cake pop! Fun fact, one of my favorite things in the whole world is COFFEE and Grindstone has some of the best iced coffee I have ever had!
While I was there I had the pleasure of chatting with Grindstone Coffee and Donuts shop owner Kyle. His goal is to create a neighborhood coffee shop vibe like the ones he grew up with in Cleveland, Ohio. After moving to East Hampton many years ago he noticed there was nothing quite like that out here. Kyle and team are not only creating delectable donuts and amazing coffee but ensuring an atmosphere that is family friendly and welcoming to all. With games and ample seating in the shop, out front, and on the back patio there is plenty of room for families, teens, tweens, college kids, and adults to sit and hang.
I asked if Grindstone Coffee and Donuts is a Summer pop up shop and I was thrilled to hear it is NOT! Grindstone will be OPEN YEAR ROUND and our community can look forward to some fun events, activities, and delicious treats all year long.
