When you hear the word costume you automatically think of Halloween but year round many theater programs and schools are constantly looking for costumes. South Fork Performing Arts has created something so unique and incredible. The Costume Closet. Theater costumes can be expensive and The Costume Closet was created to relieve some of that strain. Have a costume, fancy clothes, shoes that you are looking to donate? That's what The Costume Closet is for!
Donations can include:
Dance shoes (tap, jazz, ballet - white/black/grey/pink)
Leotards
Old dance costumes
Pre-owned Halloween costumes
Items of clothing in your closet that are of smaller size - dress jackets, dress pants, button down shirts, blouses, fancy hats, top hats, etc.
Props - play swords, old fashioned radios, fancy canes, etc.
There are so many ways to donate! There will be a collection box at each South Fork Performing Arts show, you can schedule a donation time, or you can make a monetary financial donation that will go towards costuming.
