The Spur, in Southampton, is partnering with the Tesla Science Center to on a brand new curriculum that community children are sure to love.
Their STEAM i-kids program will be delivered by 3 amazing tech ed and STEAM teachers who will bring their unique skills fusing together technology, math, science and studio art in a constructivist teaching style.
Together with Tesla Science Center, they have developed an incredible curriculum for i-KIDS that explores: robotics, drones, coding challenges, electronics, basic circuitry, and other topics focused on creative and innovative thinking. They also have a movement specialist for kids to make sure it's not all work and no play. Kids get a healthy snack too.
Drop off your kids at our i-lab on Saturday mornings 10am-noon, then kick back and relax at The Spur or go run some errands. Have brunch, read the papers over coffee, or brainstorm a new business idea with a friend.
This program is available for kids aged 7 to 12. Space is limited to 15 kids per class, so pre-booking is recommended. Please email i-kids@thespur.com to make a booking.
SCHEDULE
We run the i-kids program Saturdays, 10:00am till 12:00pm @ The Spur, 280 Elm Street, Southampton. The program runs weekly, February 8th through April 11th 2020.
