2017 Easter Egg Hunts & Happenings in the Hamptons

Here is a great round up of area Easter Egg Hunts and Events. So, hop on down the bunny trail to your local activity & Happy Easter!  We hope it is eggcellent!

Saturday, April 8th - 2017 Mad Hatter Egg Hunt @ CMEE. 376 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Tpke, Bridgehampton 631-537-8250. There will two sessions - Session 1 10 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.; Session 2 from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. Reservations are strongly encouraged www.cmee.org

Saturday, April 8th - LVIS, East Hampton at 95 Main Street, East Hampton, www.lvis.org, 631-324-1220 - Children 8 years old and younger are invited to look for golden eggs at their annual Easter Egg Hunt at 11 a.m. After the hunt, stay for a photo opp with Peter Rabbit. 

Saturday, April 8th at 12:00 p.m. join the Greater Westhampton Chamber of Commerce for their Annual Easter Egg Hunt on the Great Lawn in Westhampton Beach. After the hunt there will be an opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny. 631-288-3337, www.westhamptonchamber.org

Sunday, April 9th from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. join ARF for a dog friendly egg hunt at the ARF Adoption Center (124 Daniels Hole Road, Wainscott, 631-537-0400, www.arfhamptons.org) There will be crafts, refreshments and an opportunity to meet ARF's cats and dogs. The lucky child that finds the Golden Egg will win a special basket that has been donated by Harbor Books in Sag Harbor. 

Sunday, April 9th at 12:00 p.m. visit The Big Duck in Flanders (1012 Flanders Road, Flanders, 631-852-3377, www.bigduck.org) for it's Easter Duck Egg Hunt. Prizes and surprises, an egg hunt and meet the Easter Bunny. 

Friday, April 14th at 10 a.m. The Southampton Village PBA will hold its annual Egg Hunt in Agawam Park. 

Saturday, April 15th, 10:00 a.m. visit Hampton Library (2478 Main Street, Bridgehampton, www.hamptonlibrary.org, 631-537-0015) for an Easter Tale followed by the Library's Annual Egg Hunt. Everyone welcome. 

Saturday, April 15th at 11:00 a.m., 3rd Annual Eggstravaganza on the Green in Montauk. Candied Anchor and the Montauk Chamber of Commerce have teamed up again with a free egg hunt, foot races and complimentary baskets and bunny ears for those ages 10 years old and under. Saturday, April 15th, 12:00 p.m. The Hampton Bays Historical Society will present its 2nd Annual Easter Parade. Starting from the Prosper King House (116 West Montauk Highway, Hampton Bays, 631-728-0887, www.hamptonbayshistoricalsociety.com) Parade goers, in their finest Easter Bonnets, will take a leisurely hop down Main Street that will be followed by an Easter Egg Hunt at the Prosper King House, refreshments and the Society's Lyzon Hat Exhibit. 

Saturday, April 15th, 1:00 p.m. the Sag Harbor Chamber of Commerce Easter Bonnet Parade (www.sagharborchamber.com) will march down Main Street. Meet at Muse in the Harbor (16 Main Street) and follow the Bunny on a sidewalk parade that finishes at the Sag Harbor Garden Center who is hosting a free petting zoo from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. 

Saturday, April 15th, 2017 11:00 a.m. Grab your baskets and your bonnets and visit Marders for their Annual Easter Egg Hunt (120 Snake Hollow Road, Bridgehampton) The hunt takes place outside with eggs hidden among the trees on the nursery grounds. Don't worry about the little ones, there are two age categories. 631-537-3700 for more information. 

Saturday, April 15th at 11 a.m. visit the Quogue Wildlife Refuge (3 Old Country Road, Quogue, 631-653-4771, www.quoguewildliferefuge.org) QWR will host Eggstravaganza at 11 a.m. and then again at 2 p.m. Visitors will examine the Refuge's egg and nest collection for inspiration and then set out to create their own nest that they will fill with colored and decorated hard boiled eggs which they will get to bring home. Reservations strongly recommended. 

Sunday, April 16th at 9:30 a.m. and again at 11 a.m. join the Quogue Wildlife Refuge and Hop on Down Peter Cottontail's Trail for a Special Easter Egg Hunt. Each child will receive a gift - the event is strictly for ages 2-4. Reservations strongly recommended.
