CAPTURE A MOMENT & MAKE IT DELICIOUS LATER WITH PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 13

It has been a ton of fun to learn and play with the new Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 program. It is an excellent program that is consumer oriented so it enables the amateur to get professional results. I have been loving it! Adobe Photo Shop Elements includes three sections and the user may select Quick, Guided or Expert to achieve the editing result they seek. I am creating a Family Photo Album Recipe Collection based on celebrations with Family and Friends. This project has been a long time coming.

My primary occupation is Chef/Caterer and I spend a huge amount of time cooking. I'm a busy mom and there are often times that I create a beautiful dish and would love to stage delicious photos. Well, when there are three hungry children at a minimum hankering for breakfast, lunch or dinner it is impossible to fix lighting, arrange a table setting and snap a pic. So, Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 is my new favorite trick because....you can take a photograph in a snap and perfect it later.

The Spot Healing Brush was my favorite tool. A little bit of splatter on an otherwise perfect plate can be easily erased. When editing, go to Touch Ups, then to Scratches & Blemishes, then click on the Spot Healing Brush. With Option-Click you select a "good" part of the photograph and drag it over the blemish until it is concealed. You can also take an entire object out of a photograph.

Working with Adobe Photoshop Elements couldn't have been easier. I am looking forward to more time experimenting with the program and to finishing my project. It is meant to be a year of Family Celebrations, so I have a while to go. There are other features like "Out of Bounds" that I cannot wait to utilize; one idea leads to another...and then there is the Adobe Premiere Elements 13 that we were also lucky enough to receive which will lead to a whole new video project.
