Macaroni Moms lucky enough to attend our Baby Brunch last weekend were excited to receive their Weleda products and samples! As mothers, we all try to keep everything we put in and on our baby's bodies as natural and organic as possible. Weleda is a product you can feel good about; it meets all the criteria a mom seeks.
As a chef who focuses on locally sourced ingredients, I love the fact that Weleda controls every step of making their products, from seed to shelf! They work with German midwives and physicians to develop their formulas which utilize sustainable sourced ingredients, including handpicked calendula and chamomile flowers and nurturing plant oils like almond, sesame and protective beeswax and lanolin.
Already familiar with the Weleda line, I was especially interested in trying their new Baby Derma White Mallow formula. It is fragrance free and contains organic white mallow and organic pansy extract to soothe and calm itchy, dry skin; the coconut oil moisturizes with a cooling effect. My littlest one has sensitive skin just like his mama and so far the body lotion has worked well for both of us. The lotion and face cream received The National Eczema Association Seal of Acceptance and the diaper cream is terrific also.
