FOM (Friend of Macaroni) Lindsay Bell and her partner Lindsey Goyne are bringing Lucky L’il Darlingsto the Hamptons this summer.  “We’ve heard from many of our NYC-based families, as well as from the local community, that there is a need for reliable, energetic baby-sitters in the Hamptons,” explains Lindsay Bell.  “So we’re on our way.”
 
This week, Lindsay and a small army of her college-educated, energetic, carefully screened, CPR-certified babysitters will descend on the Hamptons.
 
“What makes Lucky L’il Darlings special is the way we really become part of the families we work with,” Lindsay gushes with what can only be described as mid-western enthusiasm.  “Every one of our sitters genuinely loves kids.”  And they can be discriminating, with over 200 potential babysitters on their waiting list.
 
Not only are the babysitters carefully screened, but the families are as well.  The $100 annual membership fee is used, in part to offset the screening.  “We want to be sure that we match the right family with the right sitter,” Lindsay Bell explains.
 
Sitters are available for an evening or a weekend.  Long-term placements are also available.
