You may know Flying Point Surf School as, well, a Surf School, but now you can add "fishing camp" to their roster.  Since they are all about the water, it actually makes sense.

FPSS offer a complete angling program for kids and their grownups.  With the ten years experience from their surf school, they know all about fun and safety on the water and bring their passion to fishing.  Whether beginning angler, or experienced caster, they'll share their love and knowledge in areas including; basic equipment, fish ecology, responsible outdoor behavior, knot tying, fish identification, care of the catch, casting techniques and safety. Fish camp instructors include founder, Shane Dyckman, and Captain Jamie Davis.  Join them for saltwater fishing and fly-fishing that promotes the use of Long Island’s aquatic resources through responsible and ethical outdoor behavior.

It's no secret that many kids today suffer from a "nature deficit", and Fish Camp is an opportunity for kids to experience nature safely and reduce their deficit and get up off the couch.  Memories are created on a boat...not by an XBox.

Options are for all ages wanting to learn how to fish from beginners through advanced fishing techniques specializing in kids fishing lessons, fishing birthday parties, corporate events, family excursions.
